▷ Sundays at the Chateau: The Chateau against the Coronavirus!

As I desperately try to get back to France before they close the borders, to be with my mother at Lalande, I discuss the challenges facing us at the chateau this year. We’re all in this horrific global situation together – here’s an insight into the ways these uncertain times will affect chateau life. I filmed this footage yesterday, and since then the situation has continued to change. All non-essential business have been closed in France, and by tomorrow the situation may well have changed again. I’ve never known things to shift so quickly. All of our decisions will have to be made on a weekly basis, but this is my prognosis so far! I hope you’re all healthy and safe. My thoughts go out to anyone who’s been affected by this pandemic ❤️

A very special thank you to all of you who have become Patrons of the Chateau de Lalande. As you can imagine, your help means more to me now than ever. Because of you, I’ll be able to keep living at Lalande and making videos even though our chambres d’hotes income has been decimated by the coronavirus. I’ve been overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity, On behalf of this beautiful chateau that will continue to survive and flourish because of you, thank you!!!

Praying for your safe return and good health to you and your family.

Scott Man – I work at a Radiation Therapy Clinic and see many men and women daily. I will be praying for your health and pray your treatment plan moves quickly for you… God Bless and PLEASE keep the VLOG going. Even if it can’t be happy every day. It makes our day better seeing the beauty in other things along with the challenges of life we all face.

Thank you for a reminder to us all that we might not have the freedoms we recently had. Let us pray that we love and cling tighter in spirit even if not physically the people, traditions and things we may love the most and hope to seek in this lifetime…It is soooo short….

I can’t wait to see what’s waiting in the packaged treasures!! 🙂
