▷ The Quarantine Diaries 1: Lockdown at the Chateau!

Here in the 16th century Chateau de Lalande in the heart of France, life goes on in spite of the French lockdown. It’s been a crazily dramatic week – I had to make a mad dash from Cambodia, through Bangkok and Dubai, to Nice, in order to make it home to the chateau and to my mother before the borders closed.

My relief at being home is immense! I hope that you’re all safe and well wherever you are in the world. And, for those of you in the United Kingdom today: HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!!

In ’The Quarantine Diaries’, I show you what life is like in an ancient chateau at the heart of the French lockdown, and the creative crafts and activities that we’re turning to to make the most of this period of enforced relaxation 💛

A very special thank you to all of you who have become Patrons of the Chateau de Lalande. As you can imagine, your help means more to me now than ever. Because of you, I’ll be able to keep living at Lalande and making videos even though our chambres d’hotes income has been decimated by the coronavirus. I’ve been overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity, On behalf of this beautiful chateau that will continue to survive and flourish because of you, thank you!!!
